Ok. So I am back in the state. ( physically and mentally) November was pretty crazy, with flying back east to visit and spend thanksgiving with family in Indiana and Michigan. After three or four ( I cant keep count) turkey dinners and a few extra pounds added, we made our way back home to Washington. So glad to be back home, back in the rain and clouds. 🙂
With the feast behind us, we set out the other day to pick out our family tree this year.
We found our perfect little tree at the same little farm we visited earlier in the year for pumpkins. They are an awesome family farm located down in the nisqually valley. check them out! 🙂 schilterfamilyfarm.com
My little lumberjacks going right to work
After, getting the tree home and set up, the boys got right to work with their decorating expertise.
After a little rearranging the “masterpiece” was done. 🙂
We got a Fraser fir this year as our tree, and I am thinking I kinda love it! I have always been a noble girl in the past, but I think I have been converted.
Do you put a real tree each year? whats your favorite type?
